In the first, I dreamt that my family went to a taping of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and my mother got picked to play an audience-participation game with Colin Mochrie. I was seething with envy, naturally, but also happy because Mom turned out to be really, really good at improv and completely wowed the players and the audience. Don't ask me where that came from. I haven't watched WLiiA? in eons. And Mom is very much like me- she thinks too much to be really good at coming up with funny things off the top of her head.
Continuing the theme of old fandoms haunting me in sleep, in the second, I dreamt that Hector Elizondo and Adam Arkin were starring in a new medical drama as doctors who were completely at odds with each other because they were, in fact, sexually attracted to each other, a character note that was actually acknowledged in canon. And my dream-self was squeeing like mad over this concept. Which is bizaare, because in all the years I was completely obsessed with Chicago Hope (which is now airing on Discovery Health, yay!), I never, ever contemplated slashing HE's and AA's characters.
Lastly, I dreamt that I was playing Stark in an elaborate, onstage, live-action roleplaying game, meaning I had to act the part rather than merely write it well. Most of the dream involved the critique I received from the general manager of the game on my performance, which was generally positive but did point out some possible avenues of improvement. It was definitely the oddest FS dream I've ever had.
My brain is weird. *g*
In other news, two things:
First, I want a Vir icon using the Michael W. Smith lyric, "this becoming is harder than it seems." Because I've decided that "Place In This World" is Vir's song.
Second, I'm building a Londo&Vir mix and I need song suggestions. So far, I have the aforementioned "Place In This World," "Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling, and "Away from the Sun" by 3 Doors Down ("I'm so far down/away from the sun that shines to light the way for me/to find my way/back into the arms that care about the ones like me"). More! More! Please, sir, may I have some more?
