Garibaldi/Londo/Lennier? Great Maker, woman! *lol* How do you make that work?

Well, it was a shot in the dark, but now...think about it! First, we've got canonical Garibaldi/Lennier/motorcycle. Meanwhile, I'm all about Lennier's canonical fascination for both Londo *and* Garibaldi, for different reasons. Garibaldi/Londo's easy, if it's in S1, early S2 or somewhere in S5 before Garibaldi goes to Mars. So all you gotta do is get Londo flat-ass drunk, have Garibaldi looking on with a combination of envy and fascination, have Garibaldi bite back a temperance lecture and instead gossip with Lennier about how intriguing Londo is, Lennier agrees, both Garibaldi and Lennier envy Londo's ability to live the good life, badda-bing, badda-motorcycle, they wake up in a heap in medlab. *g*

As for Londo/G'Kar/Timov, cripes! I'm not sure G'Kar would *ever* allow himself to fall prey to that kind of power play, he'd be SO outnumbered. And plus, with Timov there, there'd be a WITNESS to G'Kar/Londo, and I'm not sure EITHER of them would be comfortable with that...or with admitting it in the morning.

On the other hand, Londo/G'Kar/Vir has its appeal.....*g*

Ah, see, you're wrong here. If anything, it would be Londo who would be outnumbered. Timov's relationship with Londo consists of an endless string of bitingly honest criticisms and astute observations, coupled with, in my opinion, an underlying strain of affection. And don't you think that sounds much like the relationship Londo has (in the fifth season) with a certain other character we know?

And I think Londo is perverse enough to enjoy the challenge of those long odds. *g* Londo hates sycophancy. Being naturally adversarial and competitive, he surrounds himself with people with whom he can fight. Even Vir, mild-mannered and sweet though he may be, falls under this umbrella.

No, I completely agree -- but, while Londo seeks out a good snarky sparring, G'Kar (at least, outwardly) finds it exhausting. (The question of whether, secretly, G'Kar enjoys these battles of wit remains open, but, of course, we can certainly guess...)

So if we're talking about trying to write Londo/G'Kar/Timov -- Londo would indeed be totally doubleteamed and pummeled from all sides, but, underneath it all, I'll bet he'd like it.

G'Kar, I think, would find the idea of being vulnerable around not one but TWO Centauri not even worth considering. Whether he'd drop his guard around Londo alone is still an open question, which makes writing/reading G'Kar/Londo so fascinating -- and so hard to do well. Anyway, that's what I meant when I said he'd be outnumbered; I just suspect it's not a situation he'd ever allow himself to be in -- the vulnerability would be too profound, and too dangerous. And G'Kar doesn't put himself in situations where he's emotionally vulnerable.

Okay, gotcha. Though at this point, I feel compelled to point out that canon suggests that G'Kar has consorted with Centauri of the fairer sex, which makes me wonder if G'Kar sees Centauri women in quite the same way as he sees Centauri men.

See, I've long through that Vir is the person most likely to go and check if all that noise coming from Londo's quarters means that he and G'Kar have decided to kill each other again, and find out the hard way that they're getting along really well.

Of course, I think he'd be likely to react to this by backing out of the room with his eyes shut, apologising all the way, then going to look for some forks to stab out his own eyes with. I don't think he'd decide to join in *g*.

Well, poor Vir already knows more about Londo's sex life than he wants to, what with ordering underwear for Adira and being informed that Timov bites. (Btw, that's a story I've been meaning to write. As you know from my tale of their marriage, I don't think they had sex back when they were married, but they did get around to it eventually.) G'Kar would have no problem with the concept of having sex with a wife of Londo's but very much with any witness to having sex, drunken or not, with Londo. Well, he (and the Centauri) missed out of the fannish action long enough (i.e. for a decade) which is most unfair considering they get canonically laid more often than the humans.

If leyenn does not challenge you to do Londo/G'Kar/Timov, then I personally challenge you. ;)

It's certainly not a pairing I could wrap my head around, but I'll gladly read it when she's done. I must encourage her to use her knowledge of post-colonialism to write about Narns, in combination with humans or not *g*.
