Must. Get. Season. Three.

Well, after my boss made his rather stunning announcement earlier today, nearly the entire office went to his favorite bar to offer our goodbyes. My co-workers are very bad influences, I tell you. I got distinctly drunk.

Am currently hung over at the moment, but I did sit down to watch the rest of Farscape's second season and was left sobbing once again. I also screamed a couple times. Blood, vomit and other body fluids, I'm okay with, but I have this thing about eyes- I can't stand to see someone's eye being touched, let alone sucked out or stabbed. Ewwwww.

And er, yeah. I think I'm beginning to see the reason for the interest in twisted, pervy Scorpy sex. Well, if you're into that kind of thing anyway. *g*

I can feel myself starting to warm to the idea of Crais/Aeryn in addition to my Moya!Love and Pilot!Ampersand fixation. Which is funny, because I rather like John/Aeryn at this point as well. Can you ship both of those pairings, or will that cause a rupture in the space-fandom continuum? *g*

And: I thought it was a lovely stroke bringing back old contacts from as far back as the first season for the Liars, Guns and Money trilogy. I think I actually squeed out loud for the continuity.

That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Who, us? Just because Sabine, or was it Kernezelda, compared me with Natira? Also: wait till you see certain subtexty season 3 scenes.*g*

It's rare, but not unheard of. I do it, too. Also, you're in luck: lots of Crais 'n Aeryn scenes to come next season. (Lots of J/A as well. Triangles all around.*g*) I think Crais' reaction to Aeryn's death in Die me Dichotymy is the first point where we see unequivocally that he has come to care for her. Within the show, they're the classic divorced parents sharing custody of the kid (which btw makes John the annoying stepdad as far as Talyn is concerned), and also their shared PK/ ex PK background gives them some instinctive understanding sometimes. In The Awful Truth, Aeryn's version of events presents her and Crais as the sole adults in a group of hysterical kids.

Yes, lovely, lovely touch, that.

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

*randomly squees at your icon* Yay JCS!

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

I'm darksidish and all for JCS, though my true OTP on Farscape is another (see icon *g*).

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Sadly, I have not seen Farscape, but I'm a huge JCS fan and that's one of my favourite songs/lines from it. (Mmm, Jesus/Judas.)

Have to say, though, you're one of the first people I've met whose choice in OTPs rivals mine in terms of WTF-ness. Good job! :D

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Okay, another icon with lyrics from that song then. (All made by kernezelda, who did a whole set of JCS-to-Farscape-images icons - you should ask her for them!)

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Ooooh! *luvs*

(Must resist urge to create B5 icon with JCS lyrics. Urge rising. Sent help.)

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Resistence is futile. Give in! There can never be enough good B5 icons!

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Eeeevil!

Fine, once I've my affairs in order and stuff. Argh. Evil!

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

One tries one's humble best.*g*

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

\akjsdk;lasjdICON*dies*

(Is that is a spoiler for the seasons I've not seen yet?)

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

As it is from the last season, probably. Back to a season 2 icon of a certain vision...

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Nonono, spoil me? Argh, or not, I'm trying to be good. But please tell me that's not an actual line from the series and it IS just a LotR ref?

I may spontaneously implode otherwise.

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

It's an LotR ref. *g* But if that icon threatens your cohesion, wait 'til you see what really happens in the end. I absolutely promise that if you have a jones for Londo/G'Kar, the end will have you bawling.

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

I really hate it when people do that, you know. Argh must watch show.

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

As hobsonphile said, it's a LotR reference. But very fitting for the scene in question.*g*

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

*eyes your icon* Oh, crap, AU bunnies assaulting me now.

Must get DVD player and borrow rest of DVDs off friends.

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Who, us? Just because Sabine, or was it Kernezelda, compared me with Natira? Also: wait till you see certain subtexty season 3 scenes.*g*

Let alone some of the 4th season - text and subtext!

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Indeed. Never mind the main plot, I shall always love Prayer for the subplot and the opening scene.*g*

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Hmmm... actually I was thinking of Scorpius and Braca in "What Was Lost", and Scorpius and - someone else (well, musn't spoil Hobsonphile!) - in "Bad Timing". *g*

But yes, "Prayer" was great too!

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

But Scorpius and someone else was rather the opposite from the Scorpius and Natira thing which Hobsonphile just watched.*g*

Re: That was a cliffhanger, eh? *g*

Actually, I was thinking of a certain scene with erotic strangulation and finger sucking.
They do seem to have a thing about eyes, don't they? I had to hide mine for some of those scenes.

I thought it was a lovely stroke bringing back old contacts from as far back as the first season for the Liars, Guns and Money trilogy.

So did I. Farscape has brilliant continuity. I just wondered how, if they're so lost in the Uncharted Territories and have presumably travelled a long way looking for a way back to their respective homes, they went back and found all those guys so easily? Yeah, I'm a nitpicker, but Farscape is still in my top 3 SF series. Love the show, love the show, love the show!
I ship both Crais/Aeryn and John/Aeryn! :)

And I, too, hate the eye thing.

Nothing interesting to read here, move along ...
Blood, vomit and other body fluids, I'm okay with, but I have this thing about eyes- I can't stand to see someone's eye being touched, let alone sucked out or stabbed.

We probably should have warned you, but then, most people do have that reaction. Next time you'll know when to shut your eyes, I know I do *g*. It's good that you're OK with the bodily fluids because a possible alternate title for the show would be 101 Uses For Alien Vomit.

I think I'm beginning to see the reason for the interest in twisted, pervy Scorpy sex. Well, if you're into that kind of thing anyway. *g*

I blame Scorpy for desensitising me to kinky alien sex *g*.

It's OK, people do manage to ship both *g*. (I'm not a J/A fan myself, but that may have more to do with my early exposure to the fandom than the 'ship itself.)

That was when I started to get interested in Crais/Aeryn, too. When he first showed an interest in her in early Season Two, I was more weirded out than anything - she tortured him, and now he wants to get together with her? Huh? From this point on, though, it's clear that he's developed feelings for her.

And: I thought it was a lovely stroke bringing back old contacts from as far back as the first season for the Liars, Guns and Money trilogy. I think I actually squeed out loud for the continuity.

Yes, that is indeed cool.
